"We Are The Storm" April 5th, 2012
In recent weeks, Katipo Creative photographer Chris Holloman has been working with the team members and staff of the Nevada Storm to develop an image that screams success. The Nevada Storm is one of numerous teams involved with the all-female league that offers a full contact version of the sport we all know and love - Football. Gearing up for the 2012 season, the Storm faces teams from around the country and trains relentlessly through poor weather, bruised bodies and the challenges that come with being a second-year organization.
The Nevada Storm is currently seeking corporate sponsorship that will allow the organization to acquire the assets needed to create a powerhouse football team. The team is built upon the concept that women in the community should be offered such outlets and opportunities as these...so if ya got, bring it. Playing in a league such as this brings a new element of involvement and achievement.
The Storm selects players through a tryout phase...the 2012 Open Tryouts are being held Sunday April 8th at the Golden Eagle Sports Complex. All women are welcome...Spectators and fans as well!!
